Academy of Accelerated Academics

The academy of Accelerated Academics is designated as a rigorous college preparatory program of Honors and Advanced Placement courses for students who seek a pathway to a four-year university. Students may pursue three areas of emphasis: Humanities, Science, and/or Mathematics.

*Students who meet the course of study requirements and have completed the required senior project may apply for SSHS Academy Certification in addition to their high school diploma.

Course Offerings:

English:
  • 9th Honors English
  • 10th Honors English
  • 11th A.P. English
  • 12th A.P. English
Social Science:
  • 10th A.P. World History
  • 11th A.P. U.S. History
  • 12th A.P. Government
  • 12th A.P. Economics
Foreign Language:
  • French, German or Spanish
  • Level One, Two, Three
  • Level Four - A.P.
*Three years are recommended by the U.C. and Cal State Universary Systems

Computer Applications: 5 units

Health: 5 units
