The Portfolio
Portfolio Overview:
Include answers to pertinent questions in the Sr. Project Reflections Questions document (above) as part of your letter of reflection about your senior project experience.
Senior Project Letters of Reflection & Introduction
- Create a letterhead with your contact information (as you did for your resume) or in block form
- Inside address:
Senior Project Panel

- Salutation: 'Dear Senior Project Panel:'
- Use block format
- Include a closing statement, signature, and typed name
Letter of Introduction:
- 1 to 1 1/2 pages
- Don't start with:
"I am a senior at SSHS..."
"Hi, my name is..."
- Tell why you chose the project you did and what you hope to gain by it. (Mention ESLRs)
- Explain if it may lead to future pursuits
- Sound like yourself, not a robot
Letter of Reflection:
- Up to 2 pages
- Use list of questions, 1, 5, 6 8, and 11 are required
- Mention ESLRs but don't repeat what you said in the letter of intro
- Remember, the teacher grading your portfolio and the panel will read both letters at the same time; don't repeat yourself
