Prom

The SSHS Prom will be Saturday night, May 17th, at the Porter Valley Country Club (19216 Singing Hills Drive, Northridge, CA 91326). This event is a "no-miss" for members of the Class of 2008. The Prom is a formal event. Individual tickets cost only $85.00 with paid senior activity fees and $90.00 without. The price includes dinner and dancing in an extraordinary Moonlit Masquerade setting in The Porter Valley Country Club. Once again, this is an event you will not want to miss. Prom ticket sales will be on sale at lunch only in the first week of March 5th and continue through May 9th. Listen for announcements concerning the exact dates! Tickets will be distributed during TAP on Thursday, May 15th. Bids WILL sell out! Buy early!! Questions concerning the Prom?   • Guest Passes MUST be completed PRIOR to purchasing tickets. After the guest pass is completed (signatures, appropriate information, & a photo copy of an appropriate I.D. i.e. drivers license, passport, student I.D. card) and turned in to Ms. Piscitello in the student store, tickets may then be purchased. Guests must be high school students 10th grade and above, but under 21.
  • Students and guests are expected to follow acceptable standards of school behavior at the Prom. Students violating school rules will face disciplinary consequences and may lose campus and Graduation privileges.
  • Please note: While the Prom is a "formal" event, Santa Susana High School does not recommend that students hire limousines for the evening. If students and parents decide to hire a ?imo," we offer this information from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC): 1) There are occasional problems in hiring limousines; 2) limousine companies should be licensed and insured; 3) licensed limousine services are required to show their permit (CPUC in advertising; 4) Please obtain a written contract from the limo operator; and, 5) if you have doubts concerning a particular limousine company? license, please call the CPUC at 800.877.8867. We are sorry, but neither Santa Susana High School nor the Simi Valley Unified School District can intervene in any dispute or resolve problems with private limo firms as representatives of or on behalf of students or their parents.
